1.No misfires after about a week and 350+ miles. I have a 2010 Toyota Prius which is notorious for head gaskets going bad by 200k miles, my car has 190k. I started experiencing all of the symptoms for a bad head gasket; random misfire on startup, loss of coolant, poor performance, low mpgs. I'm a handy guy and could replace the head gasket but the time involved is a bit much for me right now. Per the directions on the bottle, I dumped in half of the bottle and let the car run until it hit normal operating temp, which for my car is 195F. According to the instructions I also needed to run the heater on high and high fan setting, but with the fan on high the car could hardly warm up properly. I had to set the fan to low after about 30 mins to get it to hit 195F. Once the car got a little over 190F that's when I started to see the product move around in the reservoir. I think this is a very important step, make sure your vehicle idles long enough to get the product circulating before turning it off and letting it cool. After it cooled, I started it up (with no misfire!) and lightly drive for about 15min to get the product moving around a little bit more. So far with normal driving (75+ miles per day) I have had no misfires on startup and slightly better mpgs. I will post an update if I need to add more of the product, or it fails.
    2. I'm an auto dealer. Made a mistake and purchased an expensive low mileage Chrysler 300 at on-line auction. What I didn't know, It had a head gasket leak. Our mechanic informed me that this mistake will cost me 00.00 to repair "if the head does not have to be milled". I felt sick...
I decided to try Bar's HG-1 Head Seal. IT WORKED! I've been driving this vehicle every day 25 miles each way back and fourth to work. I've purposely raced the engine with A/C at MAX and the seal held beautifully. Thanks for an excellent product that works as advertised. NOTE: Make sure you follow instructions exactly and use the correct amount for your cooling system capacity.
    3. We have a 1998 Cadillac deville in perfect condition. No one has ever even sat in the backseat. 88,000 original miles. We were heartbroken when it started losing coolant big time. No smoking or anything like that but our mechanic had already warned us about the Northstar Cadillac engine. Hubby decided he was ready for a new car. Refused to put the 5000.00 repair quoted especially since he was offered that as is by several people for our beauty. He mentioned he had heard of a product like this. Our mechanic literally cringed! We followed the directions exactly. It took a little extra coolant after the first couple of short trips.. it’s been several weeks and it is driving like a dream as usual. We haven’t had to add any coolant at all. We don’t know if it will last but we are tickled pink. He hasn’t taken it out of town but he has driven all over our huge city with no problems. We are convinced we will get a few more years out of our Bella! I bet you can tell I get attached to my cars
