Black RTV Silicone Gasket High Temp Sealant Adhesive Maker 3 OZ. 85g Tube
Black gasket maker is suitable for gaskets used in high-temperature applications up to 315°C. Safe for oxygen sensor-equipped vehicles. Excellent heat control and torque retention for overhead cam and timing chain covers. Dries hard and flexible, and improves high-temperature performance. Resists most engine fluids.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Remove old gaskets and clean all surfaces thoroughly.
Remove cap, puncture the inner seal, screw-on nozzle and cut to the required size.
Apply a continuous, uniform, 1,5 - 3mm bead around the perimeter of one surface.
Wait 10 minutes for silicone to the skin over. Reassemble parts.
NOTE: Leave space for the gasket when reassembling. Do not over-tighten bolts. Remove excess silicone with a dry cloth or alcohol wipe. Silicone dries to touch in 1 hour. Allow 24 hours to fully cure and bond. REPLACE CAP AFTER USE.
