This piece is based on the Coffee Pot built in 1927 in New Bedford PA. The 18-ft. high Coffee Pot was originally a lunch place adjoining a gas station and was a landmark along Rt 30. In 1937 it became a bar, with a hotel built in behind it. Even after the highways bypassed Rt 30, the Coffee Pot catered to locals. But time took its toll, the place changed hands and became run-down. It was saved in 2004 and restored as a historical landmark. Own a reminder of Americana.
