    Description

    Team Alba Clutch Kit
Fits:  Suzuki DRZ 400 all models and all years
This  clutch kit includes new springs, plates and fibers.
The Fibers are made from a high end paper compound - much better grip and longer lasting than the cork used in most clutch kits.  The fibers will not swell like cork does - this helps consistency of operation and longevity.  See below for more info on fibers!
The steel plates are pin dimpled and coated with a special metal compound.  This gives better grip, resistance to burning and smoother action.
15% stronger springs give better gripping power.  It has a slight increase in lever pressure.
This clutch has finished 1000 mile Baja races without problems.  Used by multiple times overall Score series champion Wayne Matlock.
This is a strong clutch that is easy on your hand and your drivetrain.  Built to last and last.
There is no warranty on clutch parts.  Be sure to install and adjust the clutch correctly - follow the ATV manufacturers service manual for your ATV.

    Notes on Clutch Fibers
--  There are 3 primary types of wet clutch fibers.  Cork/impregnated rubber, paper composite, and kevlar.  Cork is what most factory clutches are made from as well as entry level clutch kits.   The problem with corq is that is degrades easily at a low temperature and does not offer much friction for holding power.  This causes it to easily glaze and fail.  Paper and kevlar can put up with much more abuse and heat.  The problem with kevlar is that as it wears it fills your engine/transmission with kevlar material that is abrasive and can cause wear.  We recommend kevlar for drag race only applications.  All of our clutches are a paper composite compound.  Paper gives very long life and can take a lot of abuse.
